FOR ENHANCED CUT LENGTH TOLERANCE |
The Conair Belt
Takeaway Conveyor is a rugged, low profile
conveyor designed to be used when cutting flexible
and semi-rigid products. The conveyors enhance the
cut length tolerance and cut quality by
transporting the extrudate away from the cutter
bushing. The product can then be ejected into a
collecting tray for operator removal.
A heavy-duty frame
construction provides double shaft support at each
end of the conveyor. Swivel casters are positioned
at the entrance end and rigid casters are located
at the exit end for easy alignment. Height
adjustment with +/- 3 inch is provided.
A variable speed
drive provides the ability to set the conveyor
speed slightly faster than the line speed to
enable separation between the parts. This provides
efficient ejection of the extrudate without
catching the next part.
The conveyor can be
interfaced with the diameter or wall thickness
measuring gauge to separate products which do not
meet specifications. The ejector system is
disabled and the product discharged off of the
conveyor end instead of the collecting tray.
